Populari’s interns Fabien Segnarbieux and Kubra Emir participated in the public discussion named “Implications of Croatian Access to EU on Bosnia and Herzegovina” held in Sarajevo on June 26th 2014 and organized by the Association Alumni of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies (ACIPS). This discussion aimed at promoting the new issue of “New Perspectives” magazine as well as discussing the influence of Croatian accession in the EU on Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mid-Term Seminar: TRAIN 2014 – Fostering Policy Dialogue
Following the opening seminar of this year’s TRAIN (Think Tanks Providing Research and Advice Through Interaction and Networking) in Belgrade, Serbia, participants in the German Council of Foreign Relations (DGAP) ran programme gathered again in Berlin, Germany, between 10 and 14 June 2014. Together with other colleagues from Western Balkan think tanks, Populari’s Policy Researcher Katarina Cvikl took part in several days of workshops and meetings related to the group’s research projects in the TRAIN 2014 Programme. Populari’s Policy Researcher Amina Krvavac attended a public debate titled: “Use of IPA funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Experiences and opportunities” held on 13 June 2014 at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. The debate was organized by the Parliamentary Forum for BiH European Integration and in cooperation with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. The Parliamentary Forum is a coordinating body tasked with coordinating work of the state and entities’ parliaments in the process of European integrations.
