Fabien Segnarbieux, Populari’s intern participated in the conference named “Clusters as Tools for Concrete Sustainable Development“ held in Sarajevo on April 3rd 2014 and organized by the French Embassy in Sarajevo and French Ministry of Sustainable Development. This conference – experience discussion was held in the André Malraux Center/French Institute in BiH as a part of the French Week of Sustainable Development in BiH with the aim to present the notion of cluster and its application in France and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Conference: CODE ’14 – Conference on Democracy 2014
Populari was invited to participate at the Conference on Democracy 2014, the third annual conference related to democratic development organised by the International Centre for Democratic Transition in Budapest, Hungary on 3rd April. As this year’s conference coincided with the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group and the 10th anniversary of accession of Visegrad countries to the European Union, CODE’14 was devoted to the cooperation of the Visegrad countries. Workshop: Visegrad for Strengthening Democracy in the Western Balkans: Slovakia’s Experience with Cooperation between Civil Society and Public Administration
On March 20-21, 2014 in Bratislava, Slovakia, Populari’s Policy Researcher Katarina Cvikl took part in the 2nd workshop within the framework of “Thinking 4 Governance” project under the name “Visegrad for Strengthening Democracy in the Western Balkans: Slovakia’s Experience with Cooperation between Civil Society and Public Administration”, hosted by the Central European Policy Institute and led by the Polish Institute of International Affairs.
